U.S. envoy: Mubarak Must Watch Transition

U.S. envoy Frank Wisner declared Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak must stay in charge overseeing the transition to democracy. This statement is contrary to the demands of the request immediately resign as President Mubarak of Egypt. Wisner's claims, the U.S. government has not commented.
Wisner also welcomed the resignation of a member of the ruling political party. A number of senior members including Hosni Mubarak's son, Gamal Mubarak lose their position in the National Democratic Party.
Hossam Badrawi, a reformer and a top physicist, took a position as head of the policy committee, which formerly held Gamal Mubarak, as well as Secretary General.
Until Saturday (6/2/11) pm dawn, the protesters are still mastering Tahrir Square, but the number shrank compared to a big demo exaggerated previous Friday.
Frank Wisner, former U.S. ambassador to Egypt, sent by U.S. President Barack Obama to Cairo on Monday, apparently to urge Mubarak announced his departure.
"We need a national consensus on a pre-condition for the next step. The President should remain in office to direct those changes," Wisner said in New York, USA.
"I believe the continuation of the leadership of President Hosni Mubarak is crucial. This is an opportunity for him to write his own legacy. Hosni Mubarak has given 60 years of his life serving his country. It's a good time for him to show the way forward," said Wisner.
Wisner called on all parties to control their rhetoric - much of the Egyptians hear demands from abroad for Mubarak immediately resign. According to Wisner, this is more likely to have negative consequences.
On Friday, U.S. President Barack Obama asked the Egyptian president was making "good decisions" without explicitly mentioning that Hosni should resign.
